Lauren is a member of the firm’s bankruptcy and litigation departments and is a resident of the Irvine office.
Ms. Raya graduated with a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  While at UCSB, Ms. Raya was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and participated heavily in philanthropy through the sorority.   Ms. Raya volunteered her time with Relay for Life, Court Appointed Special Advocates, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. 

Ms. Raya attended Loyola Law School and continued her philanthropy work focusing primarily on Animal Rights.  She was President of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and organized fundraisers for animals displaced by Hurricane Harvey and Bark Avenue Foundation, an organization that helps animals with homeless and at-risk owners.  Ms. Raya completed over 50 hours of pro bono legal work advocating for Animal Rights legislation and also providing education and rehabilitation for animal abusers.  Ms. Raya graduated from Loyola Law School in 2018.

During law school, Ms. Raya started with Shulman Hodges & Bastian LLP as a law clerk, primarily focusing on legal research.  Upon passing the bar, Ms. Raya returned to the firm as an attorney.
